These pictures were taken on Saturday at Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge. This place has become a favorite spot to take picture for me lately. I was very lucky to catch these herons early Saturday morning.

Long Point State Park

I took these pictures last weekend as the sun was setting at Long Point State Park. After getting shut out on the sunrise the day before, the sunset was such a beautiful sight.

Snowy Road #2

This was another shot I got when I was out driving during an early morning snow storm in Janurary. Some days I am lucky to get one good shot, this morning the snow seemed to make everything so much more beautiful.

Snowy Road

I discovered this road while randomly driving around one morning. This was such a great shot that I went back to the same road the next weekend. All of the snow had melted by then and it looked like a completely different place.

This tree is located near Cayuga Lake. It caught my eye as I was driving by one day. It is out in the middle of a field all by itself. It has survived the test of time.

This picture was taken in April 2004 in Montezuma Wildlife Refuge. It was a few days after we had so much rain that many areas were flooded out.

Skaneateles Lake Dock

This picture was taken on March 4 at Skaneateles Lake. I got up early, as I have been doing every Saturday for the last several weeks to catch the sunrise. As you can tell, it was so overcast that I needed to figure out Plan B or my day was going to be shot (no pun intended!). I had taken some pictures at this same location the weekend before but we didn't have any snow and they were pretty boring. I was excited about the shot and even more excited when I got home. Post-processing: changed to B&W only.
